With 11 patents filed in the field of Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, ADAS, and Autonomous Vehicles, Sathya is a thought leader in the industry. Sathya has worked for several top-notch companies in the past, including Ola, where he served as the Vice President, Head of Software Engineering & AI. He also worked as the Architect (Senior Director of Engineering) at Ola, where he built Safety Technologies using Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision, making smarter devices by using AI on the edge. He played a vital role in building Ola Guardian, an AI-based platform at scale that does real-time monitoring and alerting for enhanced safety. Sathya also built an IoT platform for communicating with devices in the vehicle, Fraud Prevention Systems for Ola Money, and did a large-scale Cloud Migration. He re-architected and scaled Ola Cabs Consumer Platform, making it more efficient and effective. Sathya holds a BE degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University. He also attended TVS Lakshmi Matriculation Higher Secondary School. Sathya is a Senior Software Engineer and has expertise in DevOps, AI, and Computer Vision.
